First book in the works.

Invasion - Story synopsis and explanation

So  a couple weeks ago while working on other projects I decided that I wasn't happy with the way that I was trying to tell my stories.

Since then I sat down and started gathering my ideas, and after presenting them to a few friends I was encouraged to work on putting them into book format.

Then I went searching for different places that I would be able to present my work, and found I could release the product on several support websites (patreon, subscribestar, and the other ones out there). But I could also sell the books on Amazon and Google books. 

So the stories are built in a universe that I built up around 6 or 7 years ago, the concept is that there was an ancient and powerful species that were some fairly significant assholes, who enjoyed enslaving other species, as well as taking over and destroying emergent star faring species.

In a bid to get more power for themselves they made a  mistake and almost wiped out their whole species. One of the species that was in a current war with the ancient despots eventually invaded the home world of the villains, and recovered a lot of technology from them, and they eventually grew to power in the emerging intergalactic empire.

Fast forward centuries, and you find Earth circa 2021.

In this time people have started to get sick due to a Mutagenic Virus that ended up killing everyone that got sick from it, the ways it killed are unique and violent. (Explosions of random energy, radiation, or other elemental forces. Sometimes other less explainable forces (Blackholes that last for a few moments, ruptures leading to different elemental realms, rifts in time and space.). Eventually it is revealed that an Alien species has seeded the Earth with the Mutagenic Virus in an attempt to kill everyone off.

The first book will be based around one of the victims, he is one of the first survivors and one of the stronger survivors. Any of the victims to survive are terms "Altered beings". This young man grows into his role, becomes a leader, and helps to save the earth.

The first several books that I work on in this series will be the introduction to each of several of the characters that are prominent through out the war that takes place between humanity and it's alien invaders.
